  Welcome

Adam Mennenga Motocross School, also known as AMMX, began in 2002 and continues to grow each day.

At AMMX, our number one priority is our students. Our goal is simple; to provide you with the knowledge and training you need to help reach your objectives.

AMMX is different from other schools in many ways, especially our use of hands-on training. Not only are we there to explain techniques to you, but also there with a bike demonstrating exactly how to use your motorcycle. This type of training helps students learn using verbal and visual re-enforcement of best practices.

Second, we keep our classes small. Each class is limited to no more than 10 students. We feel that this is extremely beneficial to the rider because with smaller groups there is more one-on-one instruction. Fewer students, more attention, better results.

Finally, and most importantly, we separate the big bikes and the little bikes. Not only is this for the safety of all riders, but a 50 cc rider and a 250 cc rider are at such different levels, there is no way to train them at the same time.

AMMX trains all ages and skill levels of rider from 3 and up, and from beginners to advanced intermediates. So, whether you are planning on competing on a local or national level, or just want to learn how to ride and take care of you bike, AMMX can help.

  Testimonial

"In the summer of 2005 my 11-year-old son Matthew went to camp in Austin and was introduced to the sport of motocross. He was hooked! It took some time to convince his mom that he should ride, and convince me (by taking care of the yard) that he deserved a bike, but by the end of the summer he got a YZ85."

"As with all sports, I am a firm believer that early and ongoing instruction is critical to confidence, safety and success. Too many kids practice bad habits over-and-over, never achieving their potential. A friend at work recommended that I contact Adam to get Matt started, and I cannot express how pleased I have been with his development."

"After starting out as a rank beginner unable to even use a clutch, Matt is now (safely) railing berms, clearing table-tops, and comfortable in traffic. Without Adam's help, he would never have been able to advance so far in only 5 months! With such an amazing result, I (a 40-something dad) bought a 250F and after 25 years will be out there and on the track again."

"Thanks again Adam. You are a remarkable teacher, mentor, coach and friend to Matt."
